No. You can keep using Free within its usage limits. These limits also apply when using MCP. Using Free does not automatically subscribe you to Pro.

An item is an action and the notes inside it. Writing more in that action does not use another item. Each nested action counts separately. Completed and trashed items count too. The 100-item limit is an account total, not a monthly allowance. Permanently deleting an item frees up its quota; moving it to trash does not.

On Free, each individual attachment can be up to 5 MB. This is a per-file limit, not a combined attachment storage limit. Pro includes unlimited attachments.

Your first payment is due when you subscribe to Pro. Payments then recur at $5 USD each month until you cancel. You can cancel automatic renewal in your account settings at any time before your next renewal. Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, your account moves to Free and no further subscription renewal payments are due.

Your existing items and attachments are kept. You can still view, edit, and delete items and download existing attachments, including files larger than 5 MB. At 100 or more items, new item creation is blocked until you permanently delete enough items to get below 100 or subscribe to Pro. New uploads are limited to 5 MB per file.

Monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable. We do not provide partial refunds for unused days or for cancelling during a billing period. This does not limit any refund rights required by applicable law.
